What happens if you can't come into the bank?
If you can't come into the bank to pick up an enrollment form you can easily download our enrollment form and agreement from your computer or PC. The online link is provided for you below. You will need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to obtain the forms. Adobe Acrobat Reader is a program that is supplied to you for free.

What happens when I do a transaction at a tellers window?
Transactions made in the bank at a teller window will not be reflected until the End of Day Processing.

How are ACH payments processed?
ACH payments, both debits and credits, are reflected in your account the day they are received and the account balance is adjusted. Your online statement will not reflect these transactions until the End of Day Processing.

How are Wire Transfers processed?
Wire Transfers, both incoming and outgoing are processed as soon as possible, and are in your daily balance. Your online statement will not reflect these transactions until the End of Day Processing.

How are Telephone Transfers processed?
Telephone Transfers will be processed accordingly. The balance of each account will reflect the credit or debit. Your online statement will not reflect these transactions until the End of day Processing.

What happens when a check is Certified?
Certified checks are reflected on your account balance immediately. Your online statement will not reflect this transaction until the End of Day Processing.

What happens when the Bank becomes aware of an incident of unauthorized access?
Gotham Bank of New York will conduct a reasonable investigation to promptly determine the misuse of it's information about our customer(s). If this has occured or is reasonably possible, Gotham Bank of New York will notify the affected customer(s) as soon as possible. However, notice may be delayed if an approriate law enforcement agency determines that notification will interfere with a criminal investigation.

What can I do with GBNY Online Banking?
You can access your account(s) 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. You will be able to view balance and date information for each account you enroll on GBNY Online Banking. In addition you will be able to view transactions which have posted since your last statement.

How Do I Get Started?
In order to use GBNY Online Banking, you will need to drop by our office, or go online and down load both agreement and application. You will find the address and phone number in our General Information. Ask for a GBNY Online Internet Banking Enrollment Form. We will get you the ID and PIN Number you will need to access GBNY Online Banking within 5 business days from the day we receive your completed enrollment form. That's it, you are ready to go.

What if I forget my PIN Number?
If you forget your PIN Number, give us a call. We can help you get going again. While we don't have access to your PIN Number, we can reset it so that you'll be able to enter a new one of your choice.

What if I think someone else is using my ID and PIN Number?
We cannot stress enough the importance of keeping your GBNY Online Banking ID and PIN Number private. Anyone who has your ID and PIN Number can have access to your accounts at our Bank. If you think someone else has your ID and PIN Number, contact the Bank and report the problem immediately.

When are my funds available after a deposit or transfer?
To find out when funds are available after a transaction please call the Bank or email us for a "Regulation CC Disclosure" -Availability of Funds. We will be glad to provide you with one.

Can I get a copy of a cancelled check?
You can request a copy. There may be a fee associated with this service.

How long is history retained in the VIEW PAYMENT HISTORY section?
Payment History records are kept for 90 days.

Can I use Online Banking if I live outside the United States?
Yes, as long as you have a bank account in the United States.

Why has the pin field been removed?
The pin field has been removed due to an upgrade in security for our banking site. We have added Multifactor Authentication which will consist of a watermark that is a picture you will choose from a list. This picture will be seen on every page that you access on the site proving its authenticity. There will also be challenge questions that you will be required to answer.
